This session explores the work of subforms in page mode by exploring the possibilities 4D offers in this domain: How do you create and use a subform? How do you update data in it? How do you recover the actions that are made by the user? The simple case of a subform page with one level is just the beginning! We'll go on to the more challenging problem of subform pages with multiple levels: The subform included being itself a collection of subforms. This kind of architecture requires the use of an intra-form messaging system to pass around events from one subform to another, independent of their depth. We'll see how with a few methods, an efficient and simple messaging system can be implemented.
