This technote describes a modular Web site management system within 4th Dimension. This system has two purposes:

• To abstract end-users from HTML coding
• To provide site managers with quick and easy page
generation on demand

Web sites are usually under construction. Managers are constantly changing content by adding, updating, and deleting files and folders. The approach contained in this technote uses recursion to provide a simple and flexible solution to the Web site maintenance challenge.
