PRODUCT: 4D Server | VERSION: 3.x | PLATFORM: Win
Published On: November 1, 1996

This technical note provides information on how to configure and establish a remote connection to a Windows NT machine running 4D Server. We illustrate one way to establish a 4D Client for a Windows/MacOS connection to a Windows NT machine running 4D Server for Windows.
The products used to implement this solution are freeware, and either come with the given operating systems, or can be freely downloaded from the Internet.
The connection software used in this example is Remote Access Software (RAS) by Microsoft. The example used in this Tech Note demonstrates the configuration of RAS for use with 4D Client and 4D Server.
