Tech Note: Launching Multiple Instances of 4D Server Automatically on Macintosh and Windows
PRODUCT: 4D Server | VERSION: 6.0 | PLATFORM: Mac & Win
Published On: December 1, 1996

This Technical Note explains how to set up your Macintosh and PC 4D Servers so that each instance of 4D Server, and its specific corresponding database, launch automatically during startup. This provides Database Administrators with a “turnkey” solution that automates the entire process of launching Server and opening a specific database when the system boots.
This Technical Note assumes that you already know how to set up multiple instances of 4D Server using TCP/IP and/or IPX. If you do not, please refer to the Appendix of this Technical Note.
