A well designed GUI (Graphical User Interface) can really make using a database a pleasurable experience. If care isn't taken when designing such a GUI, users can get frustrated while attempting to extract meaningful data from the database.

This Technical Note illustrates a simple, generic GUI for providing users a way to sort any column on an output form using only the arrow keys. The accompanying example database provides generic code that can be used in any version 6 database.
