Tech Note: Creating HTML Tables and Pages from 4th Dimension
PRODUCT: 4D | VERSION: 6.0 | PLATFORM: Mac & Win
Published On: October 1, 1998

Using native 4th Dimension commands and functions, we can easily write code that will generate HTML pages and tables, either on demand or to build sites on an infrequent basis. Using these methods, we can mix record data and static text to create directories, catalogs or listings that have embedded hypertext links to other documents. By using a mixture of 4th Dimension’s built in Web-serving capabilities and custom code, we can build Web sites that serve up a mixture of static Web pages and dynamically or statically created tables and pages as required. This is ideal way to
build Web sites that serve data.
