This technical note describes how to use the Splitter Object in 4th Dimension version 6.5. A splitter is used to divide a form into two or more areas. The user can reduce or enlarge an area on the form by moving the splitter either horizontally or vertically. When moving a splitter, 4D looks at the properties of each object to see if it should be resized, be moved, or remain the same. The example database shows how to use splitters for resizing output forms, splitting input forms, resizing grouped scrollable areas, as well as associating your own graphic to a splitter.
