This technical note presents a productivity tool called "Resource Mover" developed with 4D. This tool allows you to manipulate the most commonly used resources, such as pictures, icons, string lists, constants, and sounds. It can be used on MacOS as well as on Windows. It is especially useful on Windows because there is no resource editor like ResEdit. Two specific resource types will be edited: button families used when creating forms and the "clut" resource used for defining colors in the Method editor. We will also show you how to change a form's background dynamically.
