This technical note will discuss the implementation of 4D ODBC in the Enterprise Data Module (EDM), the core Module of the DataGrid application. As you recall from the earlier technical notes in this series, EDM is implemented using two conceptual layers: the high-level, and the low-level. The high-level was discussed in technical note #3 of this series. This technical note will discuss one of the low-level layers, the 4D ODBC layer. However, since the focus is squarely on 4D ODBC, much of this technical note can be of use to people who are not familiar with DataGrid and EDM.
