When creating an SSL key pair for WebSTAR, the private key generated by the CSR Utility is encrypted and requires a password that is later used when the web server is launched. The private key generated for and used by 4D is not encrypted. This means the WebSTAR private key cannot be read by 4D (or almost any other Web server) and the 4D private key cannot be read by WebSTAR because WebSTAR is looking for a password-encrypted private key and 4D has not been designed to use an encrypted private key.
