A 4th Dimension structure can contain up to 255 tables and each table can comprise of up to 511 fields. Now I don't know about you, but I can find it tricky to locate a table image in the structure editor when my structure is only made up of 25 tables. Locating 1 image out of a 100 tables... forget about it.

Fortunately, there is a simple way to quickly locate any table image in the structure editor using the Explorer.

In the Design environment, you can bring up the Explorer one of two ways:

Choose "Explorer" from the "Tools" menu, or press Control+Space bar (Windows) or Command+Space bar (Mac OS).

The first tab is the "Tables" tab. If not already selected, select it to display a sorted scrollable list of all the tables in your database. Scan the list until you see the table you wish to locate in the structure editor and then double-click on it. 4th Dimension will highlight that table image and center the structure editor window around it.
