The "Language Selection," "Installation Options," and "Sources" settings are required when using 4D InstallMaker. These required parameters correspond to the minimum information needed by 4D InstallMaker to successfully build an installation Project.

If you do not make changes to the Language Selection and Installation Options, 4D InstallMaker will use the default settings as defined in the current project template.

If you do not define Sources elements, you cannot build your project.

Each installation parameter has the image of an LED (a small green light) located to the right of its button which appears lit if the parameter is used.
