If you use the command "Get text from clipboard" to retrieve text out of the clipboard, remember that 32,000 characters is the maximum number of characters that a 4D variable or field can accommodate. Any characters beyond 32K will simply be truncated. If you feel that you could possibly encounter large clipboards, it's best to test the clipboard beforehand using the command "Test clipboard." Should the clipboard exceed 32K you could instead use the command GET CLIPBOARD which loads the contents of the clipboard into a BLOB (which can accommodate up to 2 gigs of data).
