Tech Tip: A quick and easy way to retrieve the IP address of the connecting machine

When using 4D as a Web server in non-contextual mode, you may want to retrieve the IP address of the machine from which the connection originated.
To do so, just use the value $3 in either the On Web Connection method or the On Web Authentication method. The value $3 contains the IP address of the machine from which the connection originated.
