If you are interested in an e-commerce solution for your business, chances are you have more than one type of product to sell. Each product or type of product would require its own data structure. In 4D Business Kit, you may define as many data structures (known as data models) as you wish.

By creating multiple data models, you can better display and classify your products. For example, if your products included computers and printers, you would classify them in different categories. So why not include them in multiple data models?

To create or add a data model, just select the Data Models… submenu from the Data menu on the menu bar.

Click on the "+" button on the palette box.
