Shipping with 4D Business Kit

Many businesses may frequently experience customers who are impatient. That is why 4D Business Kit allows you to create unlimited shipping options to suit your customers' needs and expectations.

With 4D Business Kit, you can offer the wide range of shipping options available from the many shipping carriers out there today. First of all, you are able to choose between 3 types of shipping calculations:

1) Shipping based on number of items ordered

2) Shipping based on the weight of the items ordered

3) Shipping based on the amount of the total order

Note: You can set the type of shipping you'd like to provide in the Shipping and Handling tab of your store menu.

To create a new shipping option:

1- Select "Shipping Options…" from the "Data" menu.

2- Click on the add icon in the palette.

3- Select the type of shipping option to match that of your store.

The next few options let you set the destination. An entry in the field "Destination Country" is mandatory, and only one field from either "Zip codes" or "State" can be occupied. To designate whether inclusive or exclusive, the "=" and "#" may be used respectively. For example, if you want to offer a shipping option just to California, Nevada, Washington, and Oregon:
