Moving a 4D View document from a Mac to a Windows machine involves a minor modification. Under Windows, 4D View uses the extension to recognize its own documents, therefore, a 4D View document created under MacOS and copied to Windows can open directly if the document was saved with its extension. For example, the document "MyDoc" saved as "MyDoc.4PV", copied to PC, will be opened without any changes.
