The Operating System on both the Macintosh and Windows provide a number of ways for exchanging data from within an application or between applications- One of them being the ability to copy and paste using the clipboard. All of us at some point have done some cutting, copying and pasting to and from the clipboard. What is even more useful is if an application provided a way to copy multiple items to the clipboard and allowed the user to retrieve or paste any item individually when there is a need to do so.

"4D Clipboard" does just this. "4D Clipboard" simulates a private clipboard within 4D to handle the cutting, copying and pasting of multiple items. For this demo, "4D Clipboard" handles only text and pictures. Of course, as you will see, it is possible to allow "4D Clipboard" to handle any data type.
