This technote is the first in a series of two, implementing a UDDI Client using the Built-in Web Services feature in 4D 2003.

UDDI stands for Universal Description, Discovery and Integration. UDDI is a protocol built on SOAP; This technical note assumes that the reader is already familiar with SOAP, Web Services and XML. The detail process of using the Web Service Client commands and the new XML parsing commands in 4D will be discussed.
