One of the options for shipping charges is to charge your customers based on the weight of the items. Once the customers filled their baskets, the total combined weight of the items in the basket is calculated. The weight of the basket is then compared to the weight range in the shipping field for each of the shipping options. Based on the shipping option, the shipping charge will be that of the weight level equal to or greater than the weight of the basket. For example, in the picture below, if the total weight of the shopping basket is 3.45Kg, then the shipping charge for that order would amount to $10.87, which is the price for up to 4Kg.
