Versions: 6.8.1 or above


There is a new command in 4D version 6.8.1 that gives you the ability to programmatically set or get the alignment of an object. The command Get alignment returns a code indicating the alignment for a specific object. The command SET ALIGNMENT allows you to set the alignment applied to the object.

These two commands can be applied only to the following objects:
- Scrollable areas
- Combo boxes
- Static text
- Pop up menu/Drop-down lists
- Fields
- Variables
