When installing the 4D 128-bit SSL plug-in, you replace the 40-bit "4DSLI.DLL" file in the 4D Extensions folder with the 128-bit "4DSLI.DLL". Under Mac, the 4D Extensions folder is hidden in the 4D Package.

The path to the 4D Extensions folder is:

Contents:MacOS:4D Extensions

To invoke the package contents, depress the control key and click the 4D application icon. Select Show package contents.
