Prior to 4D 2003, updating the license meant getting into the database properties and selecting "Licenses". Starting with 4D 2003, updating the license is much simpler. The "Update License" dialog is now available from the "Help" menu. By default this is available in all three environments- Design, User, and Custom Menus.
