4D for Keynote imports a Keynote presentation file, displays the chart data inside of 4D and allows the user to modify this data. Furthermore, 4D for Keynote then allows the user to export the Keynote presentation file with the modified changes back to disk. This essentially allows 4D to make changes to the data, while allowing Keynote to act as the presenter of the data.
