The purpose of this technical note is to show how to build a quick report from scratch using a custom Quick Report wizard.

In 4D 2003, the new quick report editor is now a plug-in, named Report. Why a plug-in? You can't remove it as you can remove the 4D Write plug-in from your database. It is not an external file that you can copy into the MAC4DX folder or WIN4DX directory. So, why it's called a plug-in?
