What is a bind? Put simply a bind in 4D Open is a way to connect data from one copy of 4D to 4D Server. An example would be to connect several fields from 4D Server to fields or variables in another 4D Database. By "binding" the two data sources you can send data back and fourth between the two systems. This technical note explains the basics of creating binds.
