When you face data corruption in your database, you may be tempted to use the commands SEND RECORD and RECEIVE RECORD to export all your data and reimport it in a new data file. You should not do this because, most of the time, the corruption present in a record will be exported and reimported as well. Only an export to text will guarantee corruption-free data.
