Versions: 6.8.x and 2003.x

4D View allows you to bind (command PV ADD DYNAMIC FIELDS) a database field to a specific column in 4D View area. Once the field has been bound to a column, the order of the records will appear in the same order as the current selection. However, if you sort the order of the current selection (using command ORDER BY), the new ordering may not reflect the record order that appears in the 4D View area. To update this change to the 4D View area, you have to call the command PV UPDATE DYNAMIC AREA.
