If you are unable to select certain options from the Tools menu bar, it may be that the preferences have these features turned off or unchecked. For example, the menu items are displayed but these options are just grayed out. An example of this would be if the Synchronize or the Generate an SSL Certificate options are grayed out in the Tools menu.

To turn these features back on, select Preferences from the File menu and then go to the second page in the preferences dialog titled "Access Rights". At the bottom, check the checkbox next to the options you want available. Uncheck the checkbox next to the options you want turned off.
