The Hierarchical List object is a 4th Dimension feature that is used to display data in a well-organized and highly efficient manner. 4th Dimension provides several commands to control and manipulate a Hierarchical List object. Some of these commands have been updated in 4th Dimension 2004 for better data manipulation and control. This technical note discusses the changes for each command and provides a few examples of what can be accomplished with these improvements.
