Even though the SP2 release of Windows XP is not out yet, it is already known that it will offer enhanced security features. This may affect the operation of your 4D applications since the firewalls will be, by default, turned on. This implies that you will need to make sure the TCP ports your 4D applications use are opened.

Note: the default port number for 4D Server and 4D Client is port 19813.
