4D Client does not use a data cache and gets the record/index data from 4D Server. So, per se, the cache size has no direct effect on 4D Client or the amount of memory that is assigned to it. However, keep in mind that the cache size does affect the server's speed and therefore will have an effect on Client's general performance.
