On the Client-Server/Publishing theme page, there is an option to publish the database when launched with a 4D Server. When this check box is checked, the database is made public and will appear in the list of published databases when a 4D Client (or 4D Open client) looks for servers to connect to. When this option is not checked, the database is not made public and it will not appear in the list of published databases. To connect, users must manually enter the address of the database on the Custom page of the connection dialog box.
