Tech Tip: How to Print Compiler Errors in 4D 2004
PRODUCT: 4D | VERSION: 2004 | PLATFORM: Mac & Win
Published On: September 23, 2004

To print the compiler errors, you need to generate a compiler error file and print it. To generate a compiler error file: under 4D Menu go to Edit(on Windows)/4th Dimension(on Mac)->Preferences->Design Mode->Compiler, check the 'Generate error file' in the compiler options, and click OK. When errors come up during compilation, the error file is generated as an XML file located next to the structure file. Once the error file is generated, you can print it.
