Tech Tip: Changing HTTPS port number in 2004

In 2004, you can now modify the HTTPS port number used by the web server for security reasons. The default port number set by 4D is port 443. On Windows, go to Edit > Preferences to bring up the preferences menu. Go to Configuration under the Web menu on the right. Under Web Server Publishing, you should now be able to change the HTTPS port number. On the Mac, go to 4th Dimension > Preferences to bring up the preferences window. Go to Configuration under the Web menu on the right. Under Web Server Publishing, you should now be able to change the HTTPS port number.
