How to run multiple instances of 4D Server 2004

Running multiple instances of 4D Server requires each server to run on different ports. The default port that 4D Server uses is 19813. To change the port number, launch your database with 4D Server 2004. Under preference, select Client-Server. Under the Client-Server option, select Configuration. Change the port number to a number that is not being used i.e. 19814.
