Tech Tip: How to use the 4D Trash Page
PRODUCT: 4D | VERSION: 2004 | PLATFORM: Mac & Win
Published On: February 24, 2005

How to use the 4D Trash Page:

The new Trash page in the Explorer gathers all Folder, Table, Form or Method project objects that have been deleted from the database. Like the Windows or MacOS trash bin, the 4th Dimension 2004 Trash reduces the risk of accidentally deleting items.

To delete an object, simply select it and choose the Delete command in the Explorer contextual menu (right click under Windows and control+click under MacOS), or drag it to the Trash, or click on the delete icon (minus symbol) located at the bottom of the area. To empty the Trash, choose the Empty Trash command in the Explorer contextual menu (right click under Windows and Control+click under MacOS).

To restore any object(s), simply select the object(s) then drag it to the appropriate page icon at the left of the window or choose the Move To command in the contextual menu of the list.
