Tech Tip: Make objects Invisible by Default
PRODUCT: 4D | VERSION: 2004 | PLATFORM: Mac & Win

Compatible with 4D 2004.x

In the Property List of the new Form Editor, you can now enable an object to be "Invisible by Default." Using this new feature simplifies dynamic interface development. Specifically, the need arises when developers want to hide objects when the form is loaded and then programmatically display them. Now the developer can simply select the object on the form and activate this option. The object will then be set to invisible when loading. The developer can then use SET VISIBLE to programmatically display the object.
