Tech Tip: How to retain the User Set after the selection is no longer selected
PRODUCT: 4D | VERSION: 2004 | PLATFORM: Mac & Win
Published On: May 19, 2005

A new command called GET HIGHLIGHTED RECORDS was introduced in 4D 2004 to give 4D a better control of the UserSet. The command copies in the set designated by the setName parameter the current UserSet set in the table passed as parameter.

The set created by this command is independent from the UserSet. Therefore, the copied set remains in the memory even after the selection in the UserSet has changed.
