When executing repetitive tasks such as saving files, opening files, or opening programs, the end user would like an efficient process of fulfilling these tasks. One of the methods for maintaining efficiency on a computer is using shortcut keys. In a 4D database application, one of the most used features is the Quick Report Editor. Because of this repetitive task, 4D has built in a short cut key in user mode. Simply pressing ctrl+R on pc (Command + R on Mac OS Mac) in user mode will simply launch the quick report editor without navigating your mouse to the menu bar.
