If the variable you declared using 4DVAR using HMTL Notation <!—4DVAR MYVAR--> is not recognized such that the value assigned to it is not displayed on the web page or not received by 4D, it is possible that the ‘Use 4DVAR Comments instead of Brackets’ option is not checked. Check this option in the Web Compatibility setting in Application theme of the database preferences. If it is not checked, the old notation square brackets ([MYVAR]) is expected.
