When opening older databases with a new version of 4th Dimension, some forms may have operating anomalies. 4D Tools 2004.2 has a new option to remedy this problem.

Open 4D Tools 2004.2 and click on the "Structure" tab. Click on the Repair... button and check the Regenerate all the database forms check box. Click the Repair button.

The option lets you update and save all database forms in a single operation. 4th Dimension "forces" the verification and saving of the forms during the repair procedure.

When the original database contains damaged forms, using this option can lead to undesired effects. It is recommended that you use it on a copy of the database.
