Tech Tip: Shift Key for shortcuts
PRODUCT: 4D | VERSION: 2004.2 | PLATFORM: Mac & Win
Published On: July 11, 2005

It is now possible to add the Shift key to a shortcut associated with a custom menu command. Just click the "Shift" option in the menu editor.

The new feature doubles the number of shortcuts that can be used in the menu bars created. Remember that a shortcut is always associated with the Ctrl (Windows) or Command (Mac OS) key. When the "Shift" option is checked, the shortcut is defined as Ctrl+Shift+letter (Windows) or Command+Shift+letter (MacOS).
