Tech Tip: Where does 4D client store the logweb.txt file?
PRODUCT: 4D Client | VERSION: 2004.2 | PLATFORM: Mac & Win
Published On: July 22, 2005

4D client has the ability to become a web server. Because of its web serving capability, administrators may need a way to monitor who is accessing their site. Thus, 4D client allows you to enable logging of the 4D client web server.

To generate this log file, go into design mode and select preferences from the edit menu.
Select the web (client) section, then select Advanced within that section. This window should now have an options section. Enable "save request in file (logweb.txt)".

After starting the webserver, a file should now be generated named "logweb.txt" in the folder where 4D Client application is located.
