This is the second in a series of Tech Notes that will continue to build features into an example 4D database. The first Tech Note was entitled “User Changeable Output Form” and was published in July 2005. This Tech Note will enhance the first by saving the output form columns selected by the user, as well as a few other user changeable variables, to a table in the database. I will only be describing the preferences section of the code, if you want more details of the output forms coding used here then please refer to the previous Tech Note.
