Adding background color is a great way to help users distinguish objects on a form. There are two ways to add background colors to form objects.

Method 1
-Select a form object and execute a contextual click.(control + click on MAC OS and right-click on Windows )
-Now place your mouse over the "Color" item and you should now be given the option to select foreground or background colors.

Method 2
-In the Background and Border theme within the property list, select the Fill Color property to choose a color.
