When using the ODBC Driver for 4D Server, the client-server connection should not be encrypted in order to establish a connection to 4D Server. In the database preferences of 4D Server under the Client-Server->Publishing theme, make sure the “Encrypt Client-Server Connections” as shown below is unchecked.
