You can import a picture directly into the picture library. Here are the steps to do this:

1- While in the Design environment, access the Picture Library under the Design->Tool Box menu.
2- Click on the import button (as shown below) at the bottom of the list of pictures.



An open dialog will come up. You can then select the picture file to be imported. You can choose to change the picture properties and then save the picture.

Note: If Quicktime is installed in your system, you should be able to import a wide variety of pictures. But if it is not installed, only mac type pictures such as *.pct or *.pic can be selected.
