When you have connected to 4D Server using 4D Client, a path file(Client connection file) is saved in the Favorites 2004 folder.

This folder is located in the Documents and Settings->CurrentUser->Application Data->4D folder on Windows and in the Mac HD:Users:CurrentUser:Library:Application Support:4D where CurrentUser is the user you're currently login as.

The next time you try to connect to 4D Server, the name of the server will then be listed together with the names of the other servers you previously connected in the Recent tab of 4D Client connection dialog. The names listed in the Recent Server tab are read from path files in the Favorites 2004 folder. The path file contains the name and the ip address of the 4D Server.
