In databases created with previous versions of 4th Dimension, an additional option, v 6.8, appears below the current menu bar area (as shown below). This option is checked by default for existing menu bars. It enables you to keep the former operation of the Edit menu. When this option is checked, 4th Dimension automatically adds an Edit menu to the menu bar in Custom Menus mode. In this case, the menu is managed by the system and cannot be modified.
